As of Fall 2019, the governing bodies for soccer in Ontario, have made it mandatory that all people involved in the game of soccer confirmed that they have reviewed the Concussion Awareness Resources on this website (Ontario.ca/concussions) before they can register/participate in the sport. Before the season starts, fill out the forms and send back to RUSC’s office.

Harassment Policy
At Rockland United Soccer Club (RUSC) there is a NO harassment policy in all programs. This policy involves contact and non-contact of all participants. RUSC and its executives, employees, team personnel will take the appropriate steps to ensure we safeguard and protect the participants.

Club Screening Policy
The Club understands that screening personnel and volunteers is a vital part of providing a safe sporting environment. The Club is responsible, by law, to do everything reasonable to provide a safe and secure environment for participants in its programs, activities, and events. The purpose of screening is to identify individuals involved with Club activities who may pose a risk to the Club and its participants.

Uniform Policy
Fashion Workwear/Excel Sports store is the point of sale for RUSC players’ uniform. RUSC will issue uniforms only for players from U4 to U6. All other players who require replacement garments will be required to go to Fashion Workwear to purchase them. All players are required to wear and purchase the jersey style and colour as specified by RUSC.

Accident Management Policy
The safety of RUSC players, coaches, team administrators and spectators is a primary concern
during all matches. Highlights of this policy are: soccer related injury, return to play and accident preventions such as field inspection, lightening safety, inclement weather safety, high humidex safety and insurance and procedure.
